Need to use a border data extraction tool to transfer drawing attribute information into another program? Document control, for example?

SPOOLCAD makes use of a valuable AUTOCAD command, EATTEXT, which stands for Enhanced Attribute Extraction. This command extracts “attribute” data from the current drawing (or a selection of drawings) and can import it as a table (similar to the BOM), or export it to a .CSV or.XLS file for further processing.

Document control is the most probable, as you may need to track things like project or job numbers, reference drawings, revisions, etc.

Watch this video to see how the EATTEXT command can be used for border data extraction.
