Along with our complimentary SPOOLCAD Software Tutorials, these additional videos expand the users’ knowledge base of the software as they show detailed usage of commands and tools as well as update features that have been added to the software.
Do you need to adjust dimensional values for a component? Overall width for example? To match your specifications or client requirements?
When using the dimensioning tool, if values are not correct, then this tutorial will be your guide to getting the required accuracy you need.
Watch this video as it takes you through the steps required to edit the component dimensional data files. Be aware, this permanently changes the information in the spec, and should only be done with appropriate permissions. This adjusts the values for all newly placed components but does not automatically update any pre-existing components.
